Treasures

I strolled to the Lake, a pretty

Lake, with a heart, I was in

ecstatic at nature, the beauty

of the Lake captivating to

the eyes. Only those with

true wisdom would appreciate.

 

I slowed my pace, I marvelled and walked

into the Alleyway of the Lake, I saw signs of

Treasures, a smile played on my lips,

as I felt I was day dreaming on a lazy

afternoon, except, it was real. I took

the first Treasure, I caressed it and found

Sweets, and I laughed, and wondered,

“Since when did Sweets become Treasures?”

I chuckled in wonders delights.

 

I danced and strolled, I came upon

the next Treasure, it was Bread, I laughed

aloud and wondered “what happened to

the Gold and Diamonds?” I eyed the sky,

I took charge of my sense of humour.

I grinned and walked home and pretended

unconcerned with the Treasures in the Alleyway,

of the pretty Lake, I strolled, on my way out

of the Alleyway, into the streets, I encountered

the last Treasure, curiosity got hold of me, I

opened the Treasure, and saw a smiling face,

it made me happy, and happiness became

mine.
