Clock

 

 

As I lay on my Mat,

the clock ticks,

tic tic, I stopped

to listen to the

sound of the

clock on my wall,

in the silence of

the night.

 

Tic tic, I heard

a voice from

my clock, which

tells me, time is

too precious to waste.

I am estranged by the

clock on my wall.

 

Vuuu Vuu, the wind

of the night sings,

I grinned, hoping the

wind will continue

to sing to it’s own voice.

 

Silence beholds the night,

the wind has stopped,

the clock on my wall

still ticking away into

the night. I am afraid of

time, fear would not let me

look at the time, should

in – case I am too late

to make the journey with

the wind of tomorrow.
